Olympus Partners is pleased to announce that it has acquired Snyder Industries, Inc. from Cortec Group. Snyder Industries, Inc., headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom-engineered bulk containers. The Company produces a variety of plastic and steel tanks used in the transportation and storage of liquid and dry materials primarily for the agriculture, oil and gas, water and wastewater, and chemical distribution markets.

Founded in 1988, Olympus Partners is a Stamford, Conn.-based private equity firm focused on providing equity capital for middle market management buyouts and for companies needing capital for expansion. Olympus manages in excess of $3 billion on behalf of corporate pension funds, endowment funds and state-sponsored retirement programs. The acquisition of Snyder Industries, Inc. is Olympus’ first investment out of its $1.5 billion fifth fund.
